One thing I've been impressed with at Warwick is the Careers Service, it's really helped me to understand different areas of industry that I'm interested in and has given me support in interview practice and applications.

Warwick graduates are highly employable. Research-led teaching, the high academic content of our degrees, our established reputation and the diverse range of extra-curricular activities and opportunities available to our students all contribute to our graduates being highly valued by employers. Of students graduating in 2009, six months after graduation 86% were working, undertaking academic or professional study, or combining the two. Other graduates were developing their early careers through work experience, internships or voluntary work, or taking time out to travel or make plans.

The Centre for Student Careers and Skills

Offering a range of services for undergraduates and postgraduates, the Centre has close contacts with over 1, 500 employers and hosts five major recruitment and information fairs each year. There is a Help Desk that offers quick and easy information and advice and Careers Consultants to help you decide which direction is best for you. All this help is available from the very beginning of your time at Warwick - it's never too early to start planning your career!

Your Warwick Experience does not come to an end when you graduate! Instead, you will become a member of the wider Warwick community - a global network of current students and graduates (alumni). We have around 150,000 alumni in more than 140 countries, so wherever you find yourself, there will be people who have shared your Warwick experience.

Our graduates include politicians, sports people, academics and business leaders. Here are only handful of the thousands of alumni who've used their experiences at Warwick to make their mark on the world: Baroness Valerie Amos; Anne Fine, OBE; Stephen Merchant; Sir Gus O’Donnell; and Simon Mayo.
