My Bio

I began teaching Law on the Warwick IFP in 2016. I completed my LLB Hons in Law at Staffordshire University in 2008, and then enrolled on the Professional Graduate Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector at the University of Derby, allowing me to teach Law to students of all levels.

I have taught GCSE and A Level Law, particularly focusing on the English Legal System, Criminal Law and Tort Law modules. I have also taught on a number of practical Law courses - Access to Higher Education, CILEX (the Charted Institute for Legal Executives) course at Level 3, BTEC National Diploma in Business, BTEC National Diploma in Public Services and Staffordshire University's Foundation Degree in Social Care.

Aside from teaching, I have worked within several legal environments. I created traffic regulations for Staffordshire County Council, assisted in a solicitors' firm and worked as an anti-social behaviour and licensing administrator for Warwickshire Police.

Outside the classroom, you will often find me involved in charity challenges: jumping out of a plane at 13000 feet, running the London Marathon and the Great Birmingham Run, completing a midnight glow-in-the-dark walk around Stratford upon Avon and abseiling Coventry Cathedral! You will sometimes see me around the University of Warwick as a student in the evenings also; I am currently studying Advanced Level Italian.
