My Bio

I am a fellow of the Higher Education Academy, United Kingdom. I have been teaching Mathematics in higher education for over 15 years.

I am really excited to be part of the Warwick IFP to deliver the best overall student experience to students.

I believe that international students who take the foundation route are better off, in terms of their preparedness for study and life in a UK University.

Exactly 13 years ago, I came to the UK as an international student to study for a PhD in Mathematics at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. I adapted quickly to study and life in the UK, following my initial postgraduate studies at the University of Stellenbosch, Capetown, South Africa as an international student. This route can be likened to the opportunities the Warwick IFP provides; as such I was able to achieve my dreams and now I am part of the academic community in the UK.
