Background

Global Mobility lies at the heart of my education and research interests.

My educational specialism is in promoting critical and reflective thinking through training on teamwork, self-reflection and inquiry and research skills. I am module convenor for Inquiry and Research Skills (IRS) for Business. This module is aimed at creating an environment for students' to develop their research skills for research-oriented approaches to learning. I am also part of the 'Foundations of Business' teaching team. My background is in Business Management and Language tuition, mixed with over six years experience supporting the educational transition of international students.

My research focuses on how professional learning and knowledge sharing is conditioning global mobility practices in a time in which the current coronavirus is causing widespread, quickly changing, restrictions to mobility. This is a PhD study with the Centre for Education Studies.

Next to work, I am a member of Global Leadership Interlink (GLI), a network of professionals and students in which I give my time to leading a diverse group of students across Europe in values-based professionalism. Hereby facilitating the development of young professionals at their Universities and in preparation for the workplace.
