My Bio

My interests are in Teacher Training and English Language Teaching. After finishing my MA at Newcastle University, I travelled and taught in the Czech Republic, France and Germany. I have been teaching in the UK since 1994 and been involved in Teacher Training Programmes since 2005 as well as teaching international students English and Academic Studies. I have worked as a CELTA Main Course Tutor for 10 years delivering courses in the UK. I have also worked as a Teaching and Learning Consultant for 8 years, developing and delivering training sessions and offering one-to-one support to newly qualified and in-service lecturers and teachers. I have taught on the Warwick IFP programme for 6 years and found the experience to be both enjoyable and stimulating. I now teach international students academic study skills and English to help them progress smoothly onto their further studies. I am also involved in the IELTS exam in the UK.
