My Bio
I am delighted to welcome you to the Warwick International Foundation Programme (Warwick IFP) and look forward to supporting you in your studies over the coming year. I began teaching Economics and Business Studies on the programme in 2012 and have also taught and examined A-level Economics and Business Studies since qualifying as a teacher in 2011. Each year I teach on the programme I am inspired by the dedication and commitment of my students to achieving their goals and a place at the university of their choice.
An MBA graduate from the University of Warwick, I joined the programme following a career in the food and allied industries. I started my career as a Food Technologist (HNC), managing product quality for multinational firms such as Unilever (Streets), BAT (snackfoods) and Lindeman's Wines. My commercial experience was gained in the businesss-to-business sector in Marketing and Sales management for other multinationals, including Rhodia and Hoechst in the UK and Europe, and as a Market Manager (food) for Burns Philp Trading in Australia.
I have a variety of interests (BA (Hons) Open), which include History and Classical Languages/Literature, so enjoy visiting anywhere of historical interest!
I wish you every success on your course and encourage you to take full advantage of all that the University of Warwick has to offer during your time with us.
