How did you find about about Warwick?

One day I was surfing the web and came across with the post about applying to Hornby Educational Trust Scholarship. When I read the scholarship post, I noticed the name of university and went to its website.

Did you consider applying anywhere else? What made you choose Warwick?

I wasn't considering to study anywhere else as this university was stated in the scholarship; and I am pleased that it was like that. To be honest, this is my second MA, the first, I did in my home country. To compare these two universities, there are, certainly, a lot of differences. I can't say that the particular university is best, but I can, certainly, say that I found all the modules I have been always interested in.

How did you find the application process?

The application was easy and the help from the CAL department which I received throughout the application period was excellent. They always supported me and replied to me immediately whenever I had questions.

How are your studies funded?

Hornby Education Trust Scholarship.

How was your arrival? What were your first impressions of campus?

It was okay. I was impressed by the size of the campus and how it is green. Besides, another interesting impression was the number of students. I have never seen so many students.

What is the best thing about being a student at Warwick?

Modules, Professional Teachers, Library, positive attitudes of every staff member working in this university. I loved the modules I have taken here because I found the ones that I have been always interested in. Certainly, modules will not be interesting to students if they were not taught by professional teachers. Here, I can say that teachers who taught us are professional in their field and love what they are doing. Library of this university is very big and has a lot of books you need and want to read. The last but not the least important best thing to mention is every staff member working here is always helpful in everything.

How have you found your accommodation?

My accommodation is on campus, which is Tocil Residences. It is very convenient to live and very quiet, which is nice for me. Besides, the accommodation team are all excellent whenever you need help.

Have you managed to travel at all during your studies?

I have travelled around the UK. I have been to the cities I have dreamed of: York, London, Oxford, Liverpool, Stratford-upon-Avon. Now I am planning to travel to Manchester and Edinburgh.

What do you hope to do when you graduate?

I will work in my field, which is TESOL. I have already been offered a highly-paid job in my home country, which was unexpected for me. I will teach students with the use of my teaching methodology practices I have gained here.

What makes you happiest about studying Warwick?

Study at Warwick. Everything is great about studying here. I like everything I have learned. Besides, I have learnt quite a lot about British culture.
