How did you find out about Warwick?

The first time I heard about Warwick was when I saw it in the university ranking tables, it appeared to be in a good position. This was followed by reading more about university on various web sites and without doubt in The Student Room.

Did you consider applying anywhere else? What made you choose Warwick?

I mainly considered studying in UK, England, to be specific. In the meanwhile, some of my friends made the same choice, but some of them decided to stay in Lithuania and finish their bachelor's degree there.

I liked Warwick because of several reasons, one is that its architectural style is so different compared to whole England, secondly because it is a campus university, what is more, it had a pretty good climbing wall (now has even a better one!) and overall, just looked a bit different than other competitive universities.

Did you contact anyone at the University before you applied?

Before coming to Warwick, to make a final decision, I did contact fellow Lithuanian students who were already studying at Warwick, and asked them to share their university experience.

How was your arrival? What were your first impressions of campus?

The first first moments were a bit confusing, mainly because in the Coventry bus station I couldn't find university welcome week helpers or any other staff who could direct me! Nevertheless, when I arrived at university, everything was very smooth here, and I had no problems finding my way around the campus.

How is your accommodation?

In my first year, I was living on campus, in the Cryfield halls, and in my experience, it is the best. The stay was highest quality.

Have you joined any clubs/societies?

I am a member and education officer of Chemistry Society.

Have you managed to travel at all during your studies?

I still haven't, but I am looking to do this in the summer!

What advice would you give to anyone considering studying at Warwick?

Thoroughly read about my and other students experience, and if you have any questions, don't be afraid and contact Warwick students about the university.
