Meet an Adviser Request Form

 
This form should be used if you wish to:
  • Meet with an International Student Adviser to advise on a particular immigration/visa related query, that is within our service scope, to check documents or your visa application form.

Please be aware that due to the current situation, we are not currently able to offer face to face appointments.
Instead, appointments will take place online via MS Team. Please make sure that you download MS Team software/ app prior to the appointment.
Once your request has been approved you will receive an email invitation to the MS Team meeting.
Sometimes the adviser will also contact you and ask you to prepare or send certain documents ahead of your appointment date.

From July - October (reduced service):

Due to the high demand on our service during this time, we offer a restricted service for appointments during this time.

We can only offer 20-minute slots for all students to discuss your individual situation, to check your documents or visa application form, but will not be able to submit your visa application with you.

You must book a slot using this form if you wish to meet with an adviser.

Please follow the instructions in our email and upload required documents prior to the appointment.



Throughout the year:

Please note that we do not usually offer same-day appointments unless it is an emergency, for example, if your visa expires the same day.

Once you have submitted the request form, you will normally be contacted by email within 3 working days to confirm your appointment.

If we are unable to offer you an appointment at the time you specified, we will attempt to offer you an alternative date based on the preferred dates you state on your submission, if we can accommodate your preferred dates.


You do not need to make an appointment for presenting your immigration documents (for example, if you obtain a new passport and/or visa). From 1 April 2020 until further notice, you can upload them online.

Please use this section to tell us any special requirements or adjustments you require to enable your appointment, for example, wheelchair access or if you wish to see a particular adviser. 

We will try to accommodate any requests where we can, however, this may not always be possible.

SECTION 2 – YOUR DETAILS


Warwick Student ID Number

This will prefill if you are an enrolled student and have signed in.  

You can find you Student ID number in your offer email, your Warwick Student ID Card, your Certificate of Status, or Graduation Certificate.

Please ensure that your contact details are up to date in your Student Record Online, as this is what we will use to contact you.

Preferred Appointment Slot – we will try to accommodate your request but depending on advisor availability, it may not always be possible (required)

Please ensure you attach any relevant documents to this Meet an Advisor Request Form.

If you are a current fully enrolled student, and your query relates to the following and require a new CAS:

  • Course Transfer
  • Adding a Study Abroad or Intercalated (work placement) year
  • Academic Extension
  • Viva and/or Correction 

 

Please attach an email confirmation from your academic department with relevant information.

For example, if you have had a viva and require correction, an email confirming your provisional viva outcome; if you have been granted extension, an email from your department confirming your new course end date. 

  • We may not be able to assign a CAS if you do not attach the required evidence.
