IntoUniversity
Who are they?
IntoUniversity provides local learning centres where young people are inspired to achieve. At each local centre IntoUniversity offers an innovative programme that supports young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to attain either a university place or another chosen aspiration.
In Autumn 2018, the IntoUniversity Coventry centre opened in conjunction with the University of Warwick.
This year, we celebrate 5 years of partnership between the University of Warwick and IntoUniversity Coventry. Watch the video here:
What they do
Research shows that young people living in the UK’s most disadvantaged postcode areas are almost five times less likely to attend university than those from the most advantaged backgrounds.
This inequality limits their opportunities to succeed in a competitive job market and access professional careers. IntoUniversity was established to help change that.
They work with young people who face challenges in getting to university, providing them with a range of support through our innovative programme to help them succeed in school, improve their employability and achieve their ambitions.

23 Years of Transformation
In 2022, IntoUniversity celebrated 20 years of transforming education and opportunity for young people. Since opening their first centre in North Kensington in 2002, they now run 45 learning centres across England and Scotland.
