IntoUniversity
Who are they?
IntoUniversity provides local learning centres where young people are inspired to achieve. At each local centre IntoUniversity offers an innovative programme that supports young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to attain either a university place or another chosen aspiration.
In Autumn 2018, the IntoUniversity Coventry centre opened in conjunction with the University of Warwick.
This year, we celebrate 5 years of partnership between the University of Warwick and IntoUniversity Coventry. Watch the video here:
What they do?
Research shows that young people from the UK’s most disadvantaged postcode districts are nearly five times less likely to go to university than those in the most advantaged areas.
This isn't fair because it makes it harder for them to succeed in a competitive job market and access professional careers.
IntoUniversity was founded to address this issue.
They work with young people who face challenges in getting to university, providing them with a range of support through our innovative programme to help them succeed in school, improve their employability and achieve their ambitions.
