The Executive MBA can be taken as a daytime course at WBS’ Coventry campus, or as a daytime or evening courses at its London base in The Shard.

Teaching:
Traditional lectures, seminars, group exercises, case studies and projects will be paired with innovative learning experiences, such as using film, drama, business simulation software and role play.

Assessment:
Module assessment is a mix of individual assignments, exams, group work and class tests.

Your consultancy project and dissertation will allow you to apply what you have learned to a real management issue, usually from your own organisation. It will enable you to demonstrate that you can explore a business issue thoroughly from multiple perspectives and make practical recommendations based on the theories, concepts, frameworks and tools that you have learnt during the course.

Entry requirements

You must have at least four years’ postgraduate managerial work experience. We are seeking evidence of consistent progression including increased people management, budgetary and/or project management responsibilities.

You must have an upper second class honours at undergraduate level from a UK university or the equivalent from an overseas university. However, we also welcome applications from candidates who do not have the academic qualifications but are exceptional, with a proven ability to achieve.

English Language requirements

All of our programmes are delivered in English so, if English is not your first language, you have not graduated from an English speaking university or worked in an English speaking environment for at least two years you must demonstrate a minimum overall standard in the following recognised tests of English. The certificate will be required as evidence.

IELTS: 7.0 - all four language components have to be scored 6.0+, with maximum of two components at lowest level 6.0 or 6.5PTE: 70 - with 51+ in every section

CAE: Grade B – overall score 190 with 2 x 170 and 2 x 190

CPE: Grade B – overall score 190 with 2 x 170 and 2 x 190

TOEFL: 100 – minimum component scores: Listening 21, Reading 22, Writing 21, Speaking 23
