Applicants are normally expected to have achieved a strong 2:i undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in physical sciences (e.g. Engineering, Physics, plant sciences, Chemistry, Statistics, Mathematics, computing) or life sciences (e.g. Biology, Biochemistry) with strong mathematical skills
