Join one of our specialised research groups to conduct a one year MSc by Research in a novel area. With some of the best laboratories and instrumentation in the UK, you will have the opportunity to work for one year on a cutting-edge research project.

An MSc by research provides an opportunity for you to spend one year conducting full time research in an area in which you wish to specialise. You need to identify an area and an academic willing to supervise you during your research. You write up a thesis at the end of your studies.
