The PhD in Chemistry with Industrial Collaboration offers an opportunity to work for up to four years on a specialised research project, in collaboration with an industrial company.


This PhD course is for specific projects and an application should only be made following advice from a prospective supervisor. A PhD provides an opportunity for you to spend up to four years conducting full time research in an area in which you wish to specialise. You need to identify an area and an academic willing to supervise you during your research. You write up a thesis at the end of your studies. The project will be carried out in collaboration with an industrial company.

This PhD may contain a taught component.


Entry requirements 2:i undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry or a related subject

English language requirements Band A
IELTS overall score of 6.5, minimum component scores not below 6.0
