Live Chats: We are happy to help and engage with you throughout your application process, so will be holding regular Live Chats and 1-1 Live Chats.
Statistics
Virtual PhD Open Day will take place on: Wednesday 10 February, 2021 starting at 1pm.
The PhD Director, Professor Mark Steel and the PhD admissions tutors Professors David Hobson and Barbel Finkenstadt Rand will give short presentations about what it means to do a PhD, what it means to do it at Warwick, the benefits of a PhD degree and the application process.
Subsequently there will be an informal meeting, during which students have the possibility to ask questions and find out more about the different PhD opportunities at Warwick Statistics; in fact, we offer a very broad range of possibilities, giving a lot of choice for potential applicants. Current members of staff will be invited to participate, to discuss potential projects.
The schedule is:
13:00 - 13:30 Introduction to CDT programme (PhD Director)
13:30 - 13:45 Admissions process and questions (Admissions Tutors)
13:45 - 14:30 15-minute presentations by PhD students and former PhD students/staff
There will be the opportunity to ask questions both during the meeting and at the end.
