Departmental Events

Our academic departments host information evenings, open days and course-specific events designed to enable you to learn more about your chosen programme and meet our academic staff. Below are our upcoming events.


Management and Business

Warwick Business School (WBS)

Upcoming Open Days: We offer MSc and MBA open days and evenings throughout the year. These are ideal opportunities to visit us and find out more about our range of world class courses. Our open days include a taster lecture, information about recruitment and admissions, including scholarships, and an opportunity to network with current students and alumni.

Drop-in and meet: We will be holding drop in sessions at WBS, and at The Shard, London, to meet with prospective students who are interested in studying for an MSc or MBA at Warwick Business School.

Other departmental events: We also offer a range of online taster lectures / webinars for prospective students interested in our MBA, MSc, and DBA courses. To explore the different opportunities on offer, please visit the WBS website.

Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG)

Open Days: If you're interested in studying for a full-time Masters degree with WMG, you can find out more by attending one of our open days. You'll get the chance to meet course leaders, learn more about WMG through an introductory talk, and explore our campus through a campus tour. Upcoming dates for 2020 are:

  • Wednesday 5th February
  • Thursday 12th March
  • Wednesday 6th May
  • Thursday 18th June

Visit Us Independently: If you are unable to attend one of our open days, you may wish to visit independently, please email us at wmgmasters@warwick.ac.uk to request an individual visit to the department.

Social Sciences

Centre for Teacher Education

Open Evenings: We host open evenings once a month at the University of Warwick. These evenings are ideal if you have questions about the courses we offer, the routes available or the application process.

Taster Days: We host Taster Days, these are ideal if you'd like to experience a typical University teaching day on one of our PGCE courses. You'll sit in on lectures and seminars throughout the day with current trainees and have the opportunity to ask any questions you have.

Science and Mathematics

Mathematics

Upcoming Open Day: Our next Open Day will be on Wednesday 4th December 2019. You will have the opportunity to meet with staff and current students, and to learn about the MSc, MASt and PhD programmes offered by the department.

The day will include an opportunity to join postgraduate students for their weekly noon seminar, lunch, and presentations from the Director of Postgraduate Studies and representative academic staff.

Psychology

Open Day: We will be hosting an Open Day for the MSc in the Clinical Applications of Psychology on Thursday 23rd January. You will be able to find out more about the programme and ask any questions you may have.

Life Sciences

MSc information sessions: We held MSc Information sessions as part of the October Open Days 2019, we will update this page with information on future opportunities to visit accordingly.

Online Open Days: If you cannot make the trip to Warwick, then visit our online open day to find out whether studying here might be for you.

Travel information

There are several pay and display car parks on central campus. Please leave plenty of time to arrive and park as the car parks are particularly busy mid-week.
