Abhinay Muthoo is a Professor of Economics in the Department of Economics at the University of Warwick. He is also the Dean of Warwick in London and the Director of the Warwick Policy Lab. Abhinay was educated at the London School of Economics and the University of Cambridge. He is the academic lead member of the Cross Parliamentary Party Commission on Youth Violence.

Knife Crime and Policy

In this talk, Professor Muthoo will present some of the main findings of the work of the Youth Violence Commission into the root causes of serious youth violence – with a focus on knife crime – and will discuss the policy recommendations that have emerged from the work of the Commission. The topic crosses a number of academic disciplines and will demonstrate the impact our research has on society.
