I hope you have had a good first semester and are getting ready to a welcome break over the winter vacation. For those of you moving on to a 2nd placement please do remember all of your forms. If you are returning to a full year placement after the vacation let us know when you get back to your host by uploading your mid-term form. https://warwick.ac.uk/study/studyabroad/outbound/studyabroadforms/
At this stage of the year we restrict Erasmus+ grants to 9 months maximum. If at the end of the year we have enough grant money to pay to 10 months we will.
This is a reminder that one of the last things that you will need to do to ensure that your Erasmus+ funding is secured is to submit the online ‘report’ which you will have received an email about direct from the European Commission.

All course transfer requests have already been passed on to the student records team from Study Abroad.
Student Finance England and Wales will receive confirmation of all exchange/study abroad students in early June. No further action is needed. If you are starting your exchange in July or August 2018 you should be able to receive your finance ealier than the regular academic year which starts in October.
We have just completed the first of the pre-departure briefing sessions for students going on study abroad 2018/2019 and it was great to see the lecture theatre full. We went through a really comprehensive presentation that has been recently revised to give as much information as we could. There were questions at this session about student finance that we thought we’d drop the answers to here for anyone else who might need to know, and will do the same after each session.
