Visits/Trips 2022| Warwick Summer School

There is limited availability for our optional trips, so it is advisable to book as soon as you can to avoid missing out.

As part of the Warwick Summer School, we have planned a range of lovely evening events and day trips to help you make the most of your time in the UK with us and socialise with your peers.

Please use our booking forms, provided in the links below, to book and pay for the trips. All trips must be booked and paid for prior to your arrival in July and places will be on a first-come-first-served basis.

23 JulyVisit the dreaming spires of Oxford

Home to the oldest University in the English speaking world, Oxford’s dreaming spires shouldn’t be missed. Our visit includes coach travel to and from Oxford from St Mary’s and a fabulous walking tour which includes a visit to the Great Hall at Christ Church, used as inspiration for the Hogwarts dining hall in the Harry Potter films. For those who prefer shopping to history, Bicester Village, the region’s largest Designer Outlet retail park is just a short bus or train ride away from Oxford. It’s only 60 minutes away from London Marylebone station as well if you would like to visit on another day.

29 JulyBirmingham Theatre Visit

An evening performance of one of the West End's most popular musicals We will rock you by Queen and Ben Elton, on tour at the Birmingham Hippodrome.

cotswolds

30 JulyVisit the Cotswolds and Bath

A lovely day out to the beautiful Cotswolds and wellbeing destination Bath, the largest city in Somerset known for and named after its Roman-built baths. The coach trip will start with a stop at Bourton-on-the-water, known as the Venice of the Cotswolds. Following a short stop here, the coach will continue to Bath. Bath’s honey-coloured Georgian architecture is straight from a Jane Austen novel and the compact, visitor-friendly centre is overflowing with places to eat and drink, independent shops and remarkable museums and galleries.

22 JulyClimbing Wall experience

Come and explore the 15 metre high Climbing Wall at Warwick Wellness Hub in an an instructor led session.

The session will take place on Friday 22 July from 16:00-17:30.

Cost: £20.00 (includes a 90 min group session)
