About this page

We will always update this page when we make significant changes to course content. This does not necessarily include minor corrections or formatting.

22nd October 2021

We have inserted this opening paragraph at the top of the Year Two section in line with our other UG Law course pages:

In your second year you will study the following two half modules in Law and then choose from a range of optional modules, some of which may be taken from our Humanities departments (no more than 25% of CATs across your years of study after Year One) and the remainder in Law.

We have inserted this opening paragraph at the top of the Year Three section in line with our other UG Law course pages:

In your final year you will be required to complete the Supervised Project either as a half or full module. You will also select from the range of optional modules available in the Law School. If you are thinking of becoming a barrister or seeking qualification as a lawyer in other jurisdictions, which recognise the Warwick law degree, you will be advised to take The Law of Trusts and Foundations of EU Law modules (subject to Bar Standards Board requirements). Otherwise, you may choose from the optional modules available.

We have also removed an 'Important information' box on this page now the changes have received University approval.

Important information

The process by which a student qualifies as a solicitor in England and Wales has changed. We have therefore revised our curriculum for 2022 entry to coincide with these changes. The Law School currently provides a contextual, comparative and international approach to the study of law and this will remain as its guiding ethos.

New core and optional modules are being introduced and we therefore expect the PPL optional core modules in Year Two to change for students beginning in 2022. It is important that you check Law School and PPL webpages for the latest information.
