There are hundreds of talks and activities running on our Open Day, with Academic Sessions exploring what it's like to study here and Student Life Sessions covering a variety of other topics, including Living at Warwick, Sport and our 'Why Warwick?' overview talk.
Below is an example schedule from our October Open Days:
Many of the talks require booking in advance and you can select the sessions you wish to attend when completing the booking form. Please book as early as possible as some sessions get fully booked very quickly. As space is limited, we ask that you bring only one guest into each of your pre-booked sessions to ensure as many prospective students can attend as possible. Other guests can wait in the unbooked queue at each venue and may be able to enter if there is capacity.
If there is a session you would like to attend but have not booked in advance, you may also wait in the unbooked queue on the day to be seated. We always try to prioritise prospective students whenever allocating spare seats.
Many departments also hold drop in sessions on the day, including tours, demonstrations and Q&A sessions. You don't need to book in advance for drop-in sessions, but some may require you to sign up for a time slot on the day itself.
Campus tours and accommodation
Campus Tours will be running from 9:30am - 4.30pm and a selection of our accommodation blocks will be open from 10am - 5pm. There is no need to book for these and you can go at anytime to fit in around your pre-booked sessions.
The Information Fair is open from 9:30am until 4:30pm during our Open Days. You can drop in anytime to find out from staff and students about the variety of societies, teams and departments that all contribute to the student experience at Warwick.
In the fair, you'll find representatives from the likes of Warwick Accommodation, Student Opportunity, Student Finance and Funding, Wellbeing Support Services and Admissions. We have over 250 student societies at Warwick and a selection of these will also be represented in the fair for you to find out more about what they do and how you could get involved.
Open Day Guide and Map
If you'd like to plan your visit in advance, you can also read our Open Day Guide or have a look at our specially made Open Day campus map. Our guide covers everything from stand holders at the Information Fair to all the sessions happening throughout the day. The map will then tell you where everything is, including walking routes and shuttlebus stops.
