The University of Warwick sits in the heart of England, 3 miles south-east from the centre of Coventry and bordering the county of Warwickshire. The campus is only a stone’s throw from the M6, M40 and M45 motorways, with Birmingham International Airport only a 20 minute drive away.

The 11th largest city in the UK and the 2nd largest in the West Midlands, Coventry is a thriving, cosmopolitan city with a population of over 300,000. The city has welcomed Warwick students since the mid-60’s and boasts a host of student-centred entertainment and shopping facilities as well as historic attractions.

Many non-first year Warwick students find accommodation in the nearby leafy towns of Kenilworth and Royal Leamington Spa, as well as Coventry itself. The historic towns of Warwick and world-famous Stratford-upon-Avon, Shakespeare’s birthplace and home to the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC), provide further beautiful suburbs to explore.
