Warwick Blogs Privacy Statement

If you own or contribute posts to a Warwick Blog, then the date and time of any posts you create are stored and are visible to anybody who can see the post.

If you publish a publicly visible blog post, or comment on a publicly visible blog post, then the text of your post or comment will be indexed by search engines such as Google and your name may appear in Google search results linking to the post.

If you comment on a blog while signed in to our Single Sign-on system, then your name and University ID, as well as your IP address, are stored together with the comment you leave. If you are not signed in, then just your IP address is recorded.

If you ask to be notified of comments on your blog, or follow-up comments to a comment you post, then your email address together with details of your notification request and the time and date of your request are stored.
