Clearing Spaces
Thursday 21 January, 6.00pm – 8.00pm
Transforming a blank piece of paper into something magical using natural dyes found around the home and a fine liner.
You’ll be taking your pen for a walk, freeing up your mind, letting your unconscious mind sway and exploring pattern. There’s no right or wrong, just different.
What you'll need
- Paper, any size and any quality although thicker drawing cartridge is the ideal
- Black fine liner
- Natural dyes (in your home already)
- Paintbrush
Love Pebbles
Wednesday 10 February, 1.00pm – 3.00pm
With Valentine’s Day around the corner this is your chance to decorate a simple pebble, turning it into a message of hope and love. The pebbles can be any shape or size - as big or small as you like.
Leave your pebble for someone to find, sprinkling positive messages and creativity around your community.
What you'll need
- Pebble(s) from the garden
- White emulsion/acrylic for priming (optional)
- Coloured acrylic paint or Artezo/Posca acrylic markers (broad nib)
- Paint brushes
- Black permanent fine liner
- Sealer (optional)
Second Life

Make something useful and beautiful from newspaper, old magazines and discarded fabric. It’s easy, it’s fun and it’s all about recycling! You’ll be making coasters/placemats and traditional paper beads. Great to either keep and use or give as gifts.
What you'll need
- Newspaper
- Old magazines and paper off-cuts
- Few sticks of spaghetti
- Pritt stick
- PVA
- Old clothes/linen)
- Glue-gun (optional)
