Professor Jerry Brotton at Hay Festival
Last week Professor Jerry Brotton (Associate Director of Global Shakespeare) led a series of events at the Hay Festival, including interviews with Jim Shapiro, Maxine Peake, Paapa Essiedu, Jonathan Bate, and Germaine Greer.

Global Shakespeare welcomes new Fulbright Distinguished Chair for 2016/16, Professor Doug Lanier
Global Shakespeare is delighted to announce that the Global Shakespeare Distinguished Fulbright Chair for 2016/17 is Professor Douglas M. Lanier.
Doug joins us from the University of New Hampshire, and will be with us from September to May. He will be teaching on the core modules in Autumn and Spring.

Distinguished Fellows' Lecture, 7 June 2016
Please join Professor Line Cottegnies and Professor Daniel Vitkus, both QMUL Distinguished Visiting Fellows for 2015/16, for an evening of fascinating talks and discussion. Hosted by Global Shakespeare, the evening offers an opportunity to hear from two world-renowned scholars of Shakespeare, as well as Q&A and a wine reception. The event is free and all are welcome; please register to attend.
