Professor Jerry Brotton talks Shakespeare & Islam at Hay Festival
This year's Hay Festival launched 'Shakespeare 450', a series of events celebrating the 450th anniversary of Shakespeare's birth. Jerry Brotton kicked off the series on May 24th with a talk on Shakespeare and Islam, attended by over 200 people.
Warwick Shakespeare Scholars Get Planning
Shakespeare experts from across disciplines at Warwick University have met up for a lively planning session for the module that will be delivered in the second semester/term of the taught Global Shakespeare Masters programme. This was an exciting moment for Global Shakespeare as it began to fulfil its aims of bringing together different academics in order to create an interdisciplinary approach to the study of Shakespeare.
Global Shakespeare launches Masters course
