Health Screening Workshop Feedback
A recent issue of our News Blog focussed on the NIHR at 10, and we looked at work our Prevention and Detection of Diseases theme (3) is undertaking to evaluate the ‘Health Checks’ programme. A one-day ‘Health Screening Workshop’ was organised for screening professionals, which improved the understanding of screening programmes. We have now received feedback from the attendees too. For example, nearly three-quarters of participants told us that their knowledge about screening had increased a lot by the end of the day. Specific comments included that the workshop was “great”, “very well delivered”, had “fantastic and friendly speakers”, was “useful, informative and interesting”, and that it helped one individual to feel equipped to start their new role.
