Have you worked with an outstanding student volunteer?

If you know of any students from the University of Warwick who you feel deserve this award, we would love to hear from you! You can nominate individual students or students who have worked as part of a team.

The Warwick Volunteers Awards reward leadership, innovation, dedication and impact. You may choose to focus on just one of this criteria or you may want to nominate volunteers who have demonstrated all four.

Leadership

Students who excel in leadership may have run their own volunteering project or taken a lead on a committee or the organisation and delivery of other volunteering events. These students will have been responsible for guiding other students, as well as being a team player and volunteering themselves.

Innovation

Students who may have demonstrated creativity and innovation in adapting their project due to the pandemic or have challenged the status quo in order to make a positive difference in the community. These students will have taken the initiative to bring about change for the causes they care about.

Dedication

This is an opportunity to reward the most committed and hardworking of volunteers who may not be at the forefront of running projects but can be relied on continually. Being an inspiration to other volunteers, these students show loyalty and passion towards their volunteering.

Impact

Students who have had a profound impact on the lives of those they have been helping through volunteering and social action. These students will have shown dedication to making things happen; not just in the short term, but with a sustainable vision for the future.
