Warwick at Night: Stars, Planets & Biofluorescence
Location: Cryfield Pavilion, University of Warwick Coventry, CV4 7AL
This sold out event hosted by the Energy and Sustainability Team and the wider Warwick community, helped participants discover the fascinating range of nocturnal wildlife right on our doorstep and their habitats. We explored how human activities affect night-time creatures, took in the beauty of the night sky, and examined nocturnal themes through a creative lens.
Attendees joined Dan Bayliss, Director of the University's Marsh Observatory, for a live experience operating the telescope, experienced a planetarium show with Warwick's Astrophysics Group, and then ventured outside with the Energy & Sustainability Team to hunt for biofluorescence in nature with the help of UV torches.
