Casualty assessment sheets
Casualty assessment sheets were used to record and communicate a patient's priority of treatment. ‘First priority’ signified that the patient should to be treated immediately; ‘Third priority’ indicated that the patient’s injuries were not life-threatening, and treatment could be delayed in order to care for more urgent cases. For deceased patients, assessment sheets were used to record time of death and other relevant information.
