Part Two of The Politics, Policies and Ethics of HIV/AIDS: Past and Present
The conference brings together international scholars working on HIV/AIDS infection in its national and global context since the 1980s. We aim at identifying different forms of political engagement and activism and how these changed over time since the first appearance of the disease. In the process we will raise awareness that HIV/AIDS infection continues to be a ‘global problem’ affecting myriad countries and posing myriad challenges.
