Global 19C Network PG and ECR gathering

The Global 19th Century Studies at Warwick Network would like to invite you to an informal gathering, where we can get to know fellow specialists in the 19th century, and find out more about each other's research.

Date: 12th January 2016 (Tuesday)

Time: 5pm - 6pm

Venue: Wolfson Research Exchange, Seminar Room 3 (3rd floor of the Library)

This event is mainly targeted at PhD students and Early Career Researchers, but faculty are very welcome to attend as well. We will have short presentations on our current research projects (something like the Three-Minute Thesis Competition but less stressful), and time for interaction and refreshments afterwards (we're working on getting food and drinks!). Presentations should be no longer than 5 minutes each. We'd like this to be a very relaxed gathering, so please don't worry about having to prepare a complicated presentation :)

So if you're interested in giving a short presentation, please RSVP by 1st January 2016, and let us know what kinds of equipment you'll need. There is a laptop and projector in the seminar room, and we can ask the library to provide extra equipment if there's a need.

Please RSVP to Waiyee Loh at W.Y.Loh@warwick.ac.uk.
