Lectures and Workshops
The lectures and workshops for the course will be held in the Maxwell Centre, Cavendish Laboratory on the West side of Cambridge.
For those being accommodated by the Academy, the accommodation will be in Selwyn College, which is a short walk from the lecture theatres at the Maxwell Centre. A number of rooms have been reserved at a discounted rate. These are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis, so applicants are encouraged to register early.
Accommodation in the Old Court of Selwyn College will be in student study bedrooms; bathroom facilities are shared. The Hall, where breakfast will be served is located within the Old Court.
A number of rooms have been reserved in Ann's Court. This is a recently-built (2005) court which has spacious bedrooms with en-suite facilities. Ann's Court was purpose-built to accommodate conference delegates and it is adjacent to the Old Court (where meals will be served in the Hall). The rooms have views over Selwyn's private landscaped gardens.
