Aqueous GPC/SEC

Aqueous SEC requires more method development than organic SEC and it is often useful to have knowledge of the column types and buffers required before analysis to ensure good chromatography.

Eluent: Variable - Typically 0.1M NaNO₃
Columns: Variable - Typically 1 x PL aquagel-OH Guard + 1 x PL aquagel-OH 30 + 1 x PL aquagel-OH 40 + 1 x PL aquagel OH 60 (http://www.chem.agilent.com/Library/brochures/5990-7995-GPCaqueous-Apr11-9lo.pdf)
Filter: Millipore hydrophilic (0.22 µm, type GVWP)
