Intervention Delivery Staff
Staff that are only delivering the Awake Prone trial intervention do not need to be added to the trial delegation log and do not need to be GCP trained.

We have 2 Awake Prone staff training materials:
1) Bedside Proning Booklet and
2) Bedside Proning Video.
Use of these intervention training materials is recommended only (not mandatory).

AHP Critical Care Capability Framework and Awake Prone
In many hospitals, allied health professionals both within intensive care and outside intensive care settings play a key role in the delivery of Awake Prone.​
We have put together a document which summarises how the contribution of individual practitioners to the Awake Prone trial may help provide evidence of achieving competencies that fall within the research development section of the Allied Health Professional Critical Framework. The Critical Care Outreach Competencies were developed by The National Outreach Forum, Intensive Care Society and the Critical Care Networks. They describe the core knowledge, skills, and behaviours required of critical care outreach practitioners. ​
