Q. My participant is very good at one leg stand and can successfully hold
the position for 10 seconds. I want to progress them. Can I use a spongy
surface or ask them to close their eyes?
A. Unfortunately you cannot use either of these methods to progress this
exercise as it is not part of the Otago programme that we are following. To
progress this exercise get them to hold the position for an exteneded amount
of time e.g.30 seconds upwards.
