The National Automotive Innovation Centre is a partnership between WMG, at the University of Warwick, Jaguar Land Rover, and Tata Motors European Technical Centre.

There are over 1,000 designers, engineers and researchers located within the Centre, working on a range of future vehicle and mobility solution projects. Students and apprentices also share the space working alongside staff as our future designers and engineers.

It will host inspiration and collaboration on research projects across all sectors working together: designers, engineers, manufacturers, academia, suppliers, customers and governments - bringing together a diversity of talent working together to one end – innovation.

A £150m funding came from the partners, with a further £15m (for the building) and £14.5m (for equipment in the Advanced Propulsion Research Laboratory) from the UK Government’s UK Research Partnership Investment Fund (UKRPIF), through Research England.
