Activity

There is no standard format for conclusions and of course they vary in length according to the length of the piece of writing. Most, however, will contain a number of the following elements:

  1. A sentence signalling that the conclusion is beginning
  2. A (brief) summary of what has gone before
  3. A personal opinion related to what has been written about
  4. Limitations
  5. The practical implications of what has been written
  6. Areas for future research
