Mark is a Professor at Northumbria University. His research focuses on the law’s response to sports injuries and violent conduct both on and off the playing field. Taking this to extremes, he has also examined the potential legal impact of gamers’ ability to cheat in football simulation computer games. He is a co-author of Cavendish’s Sports Law.

Mark has been involved with ESLJ from the beginning as the Reviews Editor for Entertainment Law. He is continuing in this role as well as acting as an Editor for ESLJ.
