The Living in Debt project is led by Dr Samuel Kirwan. Samuel has a longstanding interest in the experience of debt and the role it plays in structuring inequality. He has been carrying out research on the advice sector for the last four years, looking in particular at the role of Citizens Advice.

The project is mentored is Professor Nicholas Gane and has an advisory board consisting of Professors John Clarke (Open University) and Morag McDermont (University of Bristol).
