Programme

The Higher Education Technicians Summit will take place on 31 May 2017 at the University of Warwick. Below is a draft schedule of the day, with all sessions apart from lunch taking place in the Oculus building on the main University of Warwick Campus.

5.15 pm End of HETS 2017 with coaches at 5.30 pm Campus

Workshops

Eight parallel workshops will run in each of the workshop sessions. These are expected to cover a range of issues of relevance to technical staff in UK higher education, with example titles below.

  • Platforms and Facilities - Management, Structures and Strategies
  • Professional Registration for Technical Staff
  • The Role of Technicians in Teaching
  • Technical Apprenticeships in Higher Education
