Dr Amanda Wilson, Leverhulme Trust Early Career Fellowship
Restoring Restorative Justice: Rational Reconstruction via Identificatory Guilt
Dr Amanda Wilson, who is currently a WIRL Marie Skłodowska-Curie COFUND Fellow at Warwick's School of Law, has been awarded a prestigious Early Career Fellowship by the Leverhulme Trust, due to start in November 2020.
Dr Wilson will be working on a book project that pursues a rational reconstruction of restorative justice.
Drawing on critical theory and moral psychology, the book will advance an ethical critique of restorative justice and its development, and propose a new moral psychological account of violation and restoration that is radically different from anything currently articulated in conventional legal and moral theory or restorative justice scholarship.
Over the course of her Fellowship, Amanda will also develop a new restorative justice module that will be launched in 2021.
