Professor Leonard Seabrooke

Leonard Seabrooke is Professor in International Political Economy in the Department of Politics and International Studies, and Director of the Centre for the Study of Globalisation and Regionalisation, at the University of Warwick. He has held positions at the International Center for Business and Politics, Copenhagen Business School and the Department of International Relations, RSPAS, The Australian National University.

He is author of The Social Sources of Financial Power (Cornell University Press, 2006) and U.S. Power in International Finance (Palgrave, 2001), as well as co-editor of Everyday Politics of the World Economy (with John M. Hobson, Cambridge University Press, 2007), The Politics of Housing Booms and Busts (with Herman Schwartz, Palgrave, 2009), and Global Standards of Market Civilization (with Brett Bowden, Routledge, 2006). His articles have appeared in International Studies Quarterly, Review of International Political Economy, New Political Economy, and others.

He is also co-editor of the journal the Review of International Political Economy.
