Please complete the boxes below to volunteer your room for use on our Open Days on Saturday 15th June and Saturday 22nd June. Please read the information below carefully.

  • We are currently only recruiting for ground floor rooms in the following residences:
    • Arthur Vick (Blocks 1 & 2)
    • Bluebell (Blocks 1 & 2)
    • Claycroft (Block 3)
    • Cryfield Standard (Block 3)
    • Cryfield Town House (Block 4 E,F,G & Block 5 A,B,C)
    • Cryfield Apartments (Block 6)
    • Heronbank North
    • Jack Martin (Block 2 & 3)
    • Rootes (A, B & C)
    • Sherbourne (Block 2)
    • Tocil (Block 1, Flats 1 to 6 & Block 2, Flats 7 to 12)
  • We'll give you £50 vouchers to spend at any Warwick Retail outlet, including Rootes Grocery Store for each day you open your room. These will be emailed to you after the event for those confirmed to be present in their room.
  • You'll need to be present in your room from 9:30am - 4pm on the Open Day (blocks will be open to visitors from 10am).
  • Vouchers are not valid in Benugo, Pret a Manger, Café Nero, Aroma and SU.
  • We may open some kitchens to visitors in blocks without volunteers.

If you would like to volunteer your room for our Open Days, the deadline to sign up is Friday 24th May at 8pm. We will contact you shortly after this date to let you know if we will be using your room. If you have any questions, please contact opendays at warwick dot ac dot uk.

Availability

Please let us know if you are available on either day. If you would like us to use your room, you will need to be present from 9:30am - 4pm each day.

Terms and Conditions - Open Day Saturday 15th June and Saturday 22nd June 2023

• By ticking the Terms and Conditions box on this form, you agree to allow access to your room for the Open Day team to use from 9:30am – 4pm on the dates you have selected above. 

• Please ensure your room is clean and presentable for visitors by 9:30am.

• You will need to be present in your room from 9:30am – 4pm

• Student Ambassadors will be leading groups of visitors to your room from 10am – 4pm. The communal areas such as kitchens will also be shown. 

• We may open blocks to only show shared kitchens in the event that we do not get enough volunteers sign up.

• Visitors may ask you questions about your experience as a student – please respond honestly, politely and positively.

• In return for the use of your room for the entire time specified above, the University of Warwick Student Recruitment department will give you £50 in vouchers to spend at Warwick Retail for one room.

• We will contact you after this form has closed to confirm whether we will be able to use your room on Open Day. Participation in the scheme is not confirmed until we have contacted you.

• We may decide not to use your room for any reason on the day, including if it is not presentable, not located on the ground floor in a block we aim to open or if you are not present.

• If for any reason we are unable to use your room on the day, we will not give you vouchers. If we are only able to use your room for part of the day, we will give you vouchers on a reduced, pro-rata basis for these hours.
