Alfred Dunn's prints relate to his paintings or sculptures. The etching Interwoven Square was produced in a period when Dunn was making kinetic sculpture using a variety of media such as metal, perspex and wood. Kinetic sculpture involves movement and the term originated with artists of the Futurist Movement in the 1920s. The University has two kinetic sculptures on display, Op Mobile No 10 by Nechemia Azaz and White Koan by Liliane Lijn, both located in the Arts Centre.
