Our #WarwickSpring Winners for 2022

Find out about this year's #WarwickSpring Social Media photo and video competition winners, along with some expert comments from professional photographer Jamie Gray:

On Campus

Winner - 'On Campus' category: @EmmaBuck.creates

Feedback from professional photographer, Jamie Gray:

"Wow these 360 cameras really show a warped sense of reality. I love the neatness here, the central sphere and the flower frame. Although most viewers will be working out how it is done, none the less this fits the brief perfectly and really shows care in composition and content."

Off Campus

Winner - 'Off Campus' category: @Zhaoyang9493

Feedback from professional photographer, Jamie Gray:

"A birds-eye-view of Kenilworth Castle, which is not far from campus and makes a great day trip. The ruined castle makes for some interesting compositions, even without a feathered friend in shot."

Community

Winner - 'Community' category: @Louise Katharine

Feedback from professional photographer, Jamie Gray:

"One of the trickiest things with close ups or macro photography is giving the foreground some context, and placing it with a sense of background acting as a complimentary associate. This is a perfect example of placing the subject and background both in the right spot."

Reels

Winner - 'Reels' category: @raricreate

Feedback from Videographer, Shannon Stevenson:

"The behind the scenes planning really shows here in this beautiful introduction to spring. The element of creativity and detail is what stood out to me in this enchanting edit, creating the sensation of how spring is magical, educating our communities on all the different types of flowers in bloom."
