Distinguished Africa Lecture
As part of Celebrating the Roots of an African Education at 60, this year’s Distinguished Africa Lecture was delivered by Tom Ilube CBE, Chair of the African Gifted Foundation.

The lecture focused on the exceptional abilities of gifted young African women scientists and technologists from 20 different countries, highlighting their potential to transform the continent. The event was preceded by a panel discussion centred on advancing the progress of girls and women in STEM education.
