Calendar

The evening began with an introductory talk on British bats and the work of the Warwickshire Bat Group. Afterwards, equipped with bat detectors and our newly acquired knowledge, we headed out on a night-time walk to look for bats.

This free event was open to students, staff, and the general public. As places were limited, sign-up was essential.

As this was an outdoor activity involving walking after sunset, attendees were advised to wear suitable clothing and footwear, and to bring a torch. Some bat detectors were provided by the organisers, though participants were welcome to bring their own.
