Talk: 'Social Scientists and the Making of the CIA'

The Social Sciences Connect Programme is delighted to host a talk and Q&A by Dr Peter C. Grace (University of Otago, New Zealand). Dr Grace will talk about his new book, The Intelligence Intellectuals, published by Georgetown University Press. The book highlights the real-world application of social scientific expertise in national security settings by shining a light on the vital role that social scientists have played in CIA history, from the Cold War to the Global War on Terror.

Dr Peter Grace has taught New Zealand Foreign Policy at the University of Otago for the past four years. Peter serves as Co-Director of the Otago National Security School and as a committee member for the annual Otago Foreign Policy School.
