Warwick Volunteers has organised a joint training session for both the Warwick Volunteers Executive Committee and the Project Leaders which will take place from Friday 26th April - Saturday 27th April  at the YHA Stratford. The training weekend is a valuable opportunity for you to get to know each other, learn more about your roles and gain a greater understanding of Warwick Volunteers. All expenses, transport and food will be included. 

Transport Arrangements

Warwick Volunteers will provide transport to and from the Youth Hostel:

• Friday 26th April - we will be meeting at 3.00pm at the Coach Park (Car Park 2) (check its location on the interactive map).
• Saturday 27th April - the coach will leave the Youth Hostel after dinner at around 7.30pm and drop off in Leamington, Campus and Earlsdon.

The youth hostel is in a beautiful countryside setting, perfect for evening walks. There is a direct bus to Startford Upon Avon.

Food and refreshments

The weekend will be full board; we will provide you with breakfast, lunch, dinner and refreshments. Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements or allergies that we need to be aware of on the sign-up form.

Rooms

You will be sharing a room with up to 6 people of the same sex. Rooms will be assigned at random but if there are people you would like to share with in particular, please let us know this when you complete the form below.

Towels and toiletries

Bed linen will be provided but please ensure you bring your own towels and toiletries.

Wi-Fi

Please note that there is a poor WIFI reception at the hostel.

Evening Arrangements

No training sessions will be scheduled in the evenings to allow you time for study if you wish to bring work. There is Wi-Fi available. Alternatively, the Student Exec will lead some social activities in the evenings, or you can relax in the Youth Hostel.

The youth hostel is a licenced premises so you cannot bring your own alcohol. You may wish to bring money with you as there is a bar at the Youth Hostel. Don’t forget to bring your ID, as in the past a few students were refused service.
