Arrival

On arrival, please visit the Welcome Tent on the piazza from 8.45am.

Here, attendees will collect:

A lanyard with your name and year of academic study. Guests will also receive a lanyard.
Your lunch token.

Tea and coffee will be available for all attendees at a stand within the Warwick Arts Centre between 8.30am–11.30am.

Alumni Voices

You are part of an ever-growing community of Warwick alumni around the world. We welcome three of our alumni, who have studied at Warwick at various times during our 60-year history, to share their special Warwick memories, how Warwick shaped them and their journeys after graduation.

Research with reach

Where: Butterworth Hall, Warwick Arts Centre

What does the future hold for Warwick? Our Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor Stuart Croft, will be joined by academic leaders from across the University for talks that take us beyond Warwick at 60.

Warwick’s globally renowned research doesn’t just push boundaries – it sets the standard – and we are ready to help tackle some of the world’s biggest problems.

Lunch

Where: Marketplace, Piazza

Available from: 11.45am-2.15pm

Please take your lunch token (issued at registration) to choose a main course and soft drink from a variety of excellent local businesses on the piazza. Vegetarian, vegan, allergy-friendly options will be clearly labelled.

Indoor seating areas are available for your use inside the Rootes Building on the first floor: Fusion Bar and Rootes Restaurant.

Tea and coffee

Please visit the tea and coffee stand in the Warwick Arts Centre to claim your post-lunch tea or coffee between 1pm–4pm.

Walk through Warwick exhibition

Where: Faculty of Arts Building

When: 9am-5pm

From the ambitious development in the 1960s through to the campus of today and the future, Warwick doesn't stand still. This exhibition showcases life at Warwick through the years. Can you find yourself or your friends in any photos? Or maybe connect with some of the memories shared by your fellow alumni around the world?

Society Hall

Where: Students' Union

When: 9am

Current students from a selection of societies and clubs, old and new, are waiting to meet you. Connect with groups such as the Film Society, Drama Society, History Society, The Doctor Who Society, and more, as well as the students who currently manage RAW (Radio At Warwick) and The Boar (student newspaper).

Formula Alumni Campus tours

Where: Information Tent, Piazza

When: On the hour from 11am

Walk in the footsteps of your student self and explore Warwick’s campus on a guided walk. Some areas will feel like a step back in time, while others might feel new and different. Either way, you’ll have the opportunity to see how Warwick has changed and developed since your time here as a student.

Library Very Important Graduate (VIG) area

Where: Faculty of Arts Building

When: From 9am-5pm

When you graduated, you became part of your global Warwick alumni community like no other. In fact, you’re one of our Very Important Graduates!

Come and take commemorative photos with friends old and new, catch up with your Alumni Engagement team to learn how you can be even more connected to Warwick, and don’t forget to collect your exclusive reunion merchandise before you head home.

Music and dance performances Modern Records Centre talks

Where: MRC Seminar Room, Modern Records Centre

When: 10am, 12noon, and 2pm

For the past 52 years, the Modern Records Centre has been the British repository for national archives of trade unions and employers' organisations. It also collects and houses memories from Warwick across the decades. Meet the people behind the historic documents. The MRC team will be hosting talks at 10am, 12noon and 2pm in the MRC Seminar room.

SELCS comprises of Applied Linguistics, Education Studies, Research in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, Lifelong Learning, and Teacher Education.
The School of Modern Languages and Cultures comprises of French, German, Italian, Hispanic Studies, and Translation and Transcultural Studies.
Can't find your course? Don't worry, there is plenty of campus wide activities to choose from.
WMG welcome alumni to attend their departmental event, but please note spaces are limited to 80.

Computer Science Economics

From 2pm, come and reflect on 60 years of Economics at Warwick. Join our panel of alumni, professors and emeritus professors as they discuss the past, present and future of Economics.
At 3pm, we'll then break out into a networking session, where you'll also have the chance to speak to some of our current students about life at Warwick today, their learning and their research.

English & Comparative Literature Studies

Join us for a celebration of the past, present, and future of English Studies at Warwick.

2pm-2.10pm: Welcome and Introduction by Professor Paulo de Sousa Aguiar de Medeiros (Head of Department)

2.10pm-3.10pm: The Past of Warwick English Studies

Chair: Professor Paulo de Sousa Aguiar de Medeiros

Roundtable: Professor Michael Bell, Professor Emma Mason, Professor Carol Rutter, Professor Paul Botley, Professor John Gilmore (TBC) on the ethos, achievements of, and challenges for the department during their time (10 mins each, followed by questions).

3.15pm-4.30pm: The Future of Warwick English Studies

Chair: Professor Paul Botley

Roundtable representing different research strands of the department: Dr Nick Lawrence (TBC), Dr Alice Kelly, Dr Alírio Karina, Dr Charlotte Spear (TBC) – discussion of our identity as an English department in 2025 and where we hope to go in the next sixty years (5-8 minutes each, followed by questions).

History and Comparative American Studies

Where: Faculty of Arts Building 3.57

Take a tour of our new facilities, and chat with some of our Emeritus Professors and current students about how History has evolved at Warwick, and what student life is like today. You can also view our Warwick in Venice Showcase, which encourages students to explore the Renaissance.

Law

Where: Law School Student Hub S0.01

Celebrate (almost!) 60 Years of Warwick Law School (2-4pm)

Join us from 2pm in the Law School Student Hub for an afternoon of reflection, connection and celebration. Hear from lecturers past and present, and current students, about the Law School today, and reconnect with our Warwick Law community as we look back on nearly six decades of legal education at Warwick.

Life Sciences

Where: Interdisciplinary Biomedical Research Building (IBRB), Gibbet Hill Campus

When: 2.15pm

To start our School of Life Sciences Reunion programme, we invite you to join us at a drinks reception with current and emeritus staff. They will be on hand, with students and other lab members, to chat with you about the developments across the breadth of Life Sciences research at Warwick. Together we will remember the greatest achievements coming out of Warwick over the years and give you updates on the exciting research developments going on right now.

Live demonstrations, exhibits, and drinks will create a highly convivial occasion. We are also delighted to celebrate the transformational gift from an alumnus that has enabled Warwick research to drive positive change and towards global health resilience today and for future generations. Early in the reception we will highlight and explain this with a brief address and the chance to talk to staff involved in this exciting research initiative.

Mathematics Philosophy

Where: Common Room - S2.73

When: 2pm-3pm

Join us to celebrate six decades of Philosophy at Warwick with an afternoon of memories, connections, and discussions.

Alumni, staff members, and student ambassadors will gather in the common room (S2.73) to recreate the atmosphere of a philosophy seminar.
Together, we will explore a fascinating display of objects from the department's past and discuss why Philosophy matters today and in the future – starting from how it has mattered to you in your personal journey after Warwick.
All philosophy alumni are welcome, including joint degree alumni.

Physics

Where: The Barn

When: 2pm-5pm

Join us to hear about our latest Physics research, innovation and teaching from our Head of Department (who is also a Warwick alumnus), before taking the opportunity to enjoy tours of our new on-campus Observatory just next door. We'll then offer you a guided walking tour across campus to Millburn House, where we will visit some of our state-of-the-art laboratories, as well as meeting some of our current staff and students.
Some of our equipment in the Millburn House labs requires specific health and safety measures, which might mean that certain activities aren’t suitable for everyone. Rest assured that everything will be explained clearly when you arrive.

Politics and International Studies

Where: Faculty of Social Sciences

When: From 2pm (timings to be confirmed closer to reunion)

We’re delighted to invite our Politics and International Studies alumni to a special event on campus, featuring a thought-provoking round table discussion with former and current members of staff and students. This one-hour session will offer a unique opportunity to reflect on the department’s evolution, share experiences, and explore current themes in politics and international studies. The conversation will be followed by a relaxed reception, giving alumni the chance to reconnect, network, and celebrate their time with the department.

Psychology Modern Languages and Cultures Statistics

Where: Mathematical Sciences Building atrium, MB 0.07 and MB 0.08

When: 2pm-5pm

Join us for a special open house at the Mathematical Sciences building, home to the Department of Statistics since 2018.

2pm-3.30pm

Drop in to enjoy student-led tours of both the Mathematical Sciences and neighbouring Zeeman buildings and explore how the department has evolved.

3pm

Enjoy a short talk by Professor Jim Smith as he reflects on the early years of the department. You’ll also have the chance to view poster presentations showcasing current student research projects.

SELCS

Where: S0.21, Faculty of Social Sciences

Join SELCS for a special 60th anniversary panel discussion on “Inspiring Futures: Education in a Changing World” - an event bringing together alumni and emeritus professors. Discover how education continues to transform lives, careers, and communities, and explore what the future holds for learners everywhere.

About the School: The School of Education, Learning and Communication Sciences (SELCS) is a new shared home for the Centre for Applied Linguistics, Centre for Research in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (CIDD), Centre for Lifelong Learning (CLL), Centre for Teacher Education (CTE) and Centre for Education Studies.
